Mulching vs. Bulldozing

Forestry mulching vs. traditional clearing

Forestry mulching grinds brush in place and leaves mulch on the ground. No burn piles, no hauling, less soil disturbance, and grass grows back through the mulch.

Traditional clearing with a dozer pushes everything into piles that then have to be burned or hauled. It makes sense when you need bare dirt for a building pad, but it costs more in cleanup and leaves soil open to erosion.

For most pasture, fence line, hunting land and lot clearing, mulching is the cleaner and often cheaper choice.
