Service
Forestry mulching clears brush and small trees in a single step. One machine cuts and grinds everything where it stands and spreads the mulch back over the ground, with no burn piles, no hauling and no bare dirt left behind.
What It Is
A forestry mulcher is a heavy spinning drum with steel teeth, mounted on the front of our New Holland C362 compact track loader. It grinds brush, cedar, mesquite, vines and small trees into wood chips in place.
The chips stay on the ground as a layer of mulch. That layer holds the soil, keeps moisture in and slows weeds from coming back, which is why mulching is often the cleanest way to open up land.

Questions
It is a way of clearing land where one machine cuts and grinds brush and small trees in place and leaves the mulch on the ground. There is no burning and no hauling.
It grinds stumps down to about ground level. If you need roots and stumps fully removed for a building pad or driveway, that is extra dirt work we can quote separately.
Most brush, cedar, mesquite and small trees are no problem. Very large trees may need to be cut first. We will tell you during the walkthrough.
For most brush and pasture jobs, yes. It disturbs the soil less, leaves mulch to prevent erosion, and there are no burn piles. Bulldozing makes sense when you need bare dirt for construction.
Usually one to three years, depending on rain and how thick it is. Grass typically grows back through it within a season or two.
